When all is said and done...

The past nine months have taught me so much. The event actually happened, and all of our hard work was worth it! The lessons I learned, the relationships I built, and the tasks I accomplished are priceless and I will carry them all for life. Not only did I realize how much work is put into an event, but also the importance of teamwork and follow though. It was an honor being taught by Professor Mike Cole and I can honestly say that this class is the most practical and exciting class I have ever taken during my undergraduate education. COMM146 taught me so many valuable skills that I will be able to use in my future career. For instance, I learned how to conduct formal interviews, set up a recording room and camera, communicate with professionals, create a budget, write a press release,  direct a short promotional film, plan an event, create a website, work with a server, and so much more. I could continue on about everything that I learned, but what is most important, is realizing what i got out of the class. As a graduating senior, I am not only honored to have worked so closely with the Communication Department at UCSD, but also extremely grateful and touched by this experience. Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen, we made history happen!
